It is easier to build strong children than it is to repair broken adults

However you choose to donate, your contribution will make a difference

Why donate?

Life can be confusing and challenging for young people. It can be tricky to navigate, especially when you haven’t been given the right tools. Respect Yourself is a non-profit organisation aiming to give young people everything they’ll need to know to get ahead in life. Ranging from the emotional to the practical, Respect Yourself believes in giving young people the best chance at having a happy, successful life. We want to help empower young people, build their self-esteem and make them realise their potential – and we need your help to do this.

Where does your money go?

Your money will go directly back into the service, to help us grow and continue our work further. With your donation, you could help us be the lifeboat a young person desperately needs. The lasting impact your help could give is invaluable – you could help change, or even save, a life.

Your donation will make sure more young people get the help and support they so desperately need.

Every donation helps us to keep the service running to make real, lasting impacts on young people’s lives.

Donate directly from your wage or pension

Payroll Giving is a way of giving money to charity straight from your wages or pension, before tax is deducted from your income. Ask your employer or pension provider if they run a Payroll Giving scheme. They may even match the amount you give, to boost your donation. A small amount from your monthly wages may not make much difference to you, but it could have significant impact on the work we are able to do because of your support. Our Registered Charity Number is 1161527.

You can read more about Payroll Giving through the UK Government’s Payroll Giving website.

Donate at celebration times

We’ve teamed up with dontsendmeacard.com, so that you can donate to Respect Yourself instead of sending birthday, Valentines or Christmas cards. Make a real impact on those who need it, and let your loved ones know. Send eCards instead and support Respect Yourself.

Thank you for making a difference
