Excerpt: White Pine Middle School began its journey of transformation 7 years ago. We saw almost immediate gains as we reshaped our culture around a common vision and collaboratively began to solve the many challenges that existed. However, certain aspects of our student culture were not improving as quickly as we wanted. We made the connection that if the adults could collectively reshape certain aspects of the culture of the school, then we could empower students to do the same!
