If you have been given notice of redundancy and have at least 2 years’ worth of continuous employment, you are entitled to take reasonable paid time off work to look for a new job.

    Excerpt: If you are being made redundant you are entitled to take reasonable time off with pay (but no more than 2/5ths of a week’s pay in total, regardless of the length of time off allowed) to look for another job, or to arrange training for future employment. You must have at least two years’ continuous service. You can take the time off within working hours while under notice.
