If you have been given notice of redundancy and have at least 2 years’ worth of continuous employment, you are entitled to take reasonable paid time off work to look for a new job.

Excerpt: If you are being made redundant you are entitled to take reasonable time off with pay (but no more than 2/5ths of a week’s pay in total, regardless of the length of time off allowed) to look for another job, or to arrange training for future employment.
