If you are leaving home because of family conflict or abuse, you might be able to stay at a shelter, if you cannot resolve the conflict. Leaving home is easier if your family will assist and support you in making the move. If your immediate family will not support you, you might have friends or relatives who will.
If you are under 18 and moving out, you may find it difficult to rent a house or sign a lease because of your age. You may need an adult (relative or friend) to cosign a lease with you, so they share the responsibility for ensuring the property is taken care of and you are paying your rent on time.
In family disagreements, some people lose their temper and become intentionally hurtful, aggressive or even violent. But there are ways to defuse the conflict and help bring about a peaceful result, even if the final decision is a compromise or agreeing to disagree.
Families sometimes disagree with each other and the occasional tension or argument is part of family life. However, ongoing arguments and tension can be stressful and overwhelming.
Most introverts care a great deal about people, but they prefer to engage with them one-on-one rather than in a group. Most introverts find small talk a little uncomfortable and prefer to have deep conversations with one person at a time instead of struggling to hang out with a large group of people.
Introversion is usually thought of as the tendency to enjoy solitude rather than time with a group of people. It can be exhausting for introverts to spend time around lots of people, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t like people – just that they “recharge” on their own rather than when socialising.
For a short-term savings goal (up to 5 years), look at a savings account, term deposit or a cash ISA. For a medium term goal (5-10 years) use a savings product, or consider investments depending on your risk appetite. For a long-term goal look at shares/bonds/funds that provide protection from inflation over the long term.
Once you’ve got started saving money, give your savings chance to grow faster by spending some time to find the right home for them. The best home depends on how much time you have to reach your goal, and how much risk you’re willing to take.

Happy Easter, Happy Holidays or simply Happy Weekend! School is out, the half term is here and for most people the Bank Holidays provides a very welcome break from the daily grind. You wouldn’t think it, or perhaps you do, but holidays and festive periods can cause discomfort and anguish for some people.
If you are 18 or older, have a stable income and are planning to leave home, you can probably either move into shared housing with friends or look into renting your own place. If you’re going to university, you may also have the option of going into halls of residence with other students.
