How long does an apprenticeship last?

Apprenticeships can take between one and four years to complete depending on the level of Apprenticeship, the apprentices’ ability and the industry sector. The minimum salary is £2.65 per hour; however, many apprentices earn significantly more.

Apologise to each other after an argument

After an argument, don’t assume that just because they have apologised, this means you don’t have to. You both need to apologise to each other. They feel just as wronged as you and it is rarely just one person responsible for what is said in an argument.

What qualifications can I get from an apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships (and Advanced Apprenticeships) can lead to a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) at Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5; a Key Skills qualification, like problem solving and using technology; (in most cases) a technical certificate, such as a BTEC or City & Guilds Progression Award; other qualifications needed for particular occupations; for higher Apprenticeships knowledge-based qualification such as an HNC, HND or Foundation degree.

The NHS Organ Donor Register is a national, confidential list of people who are willing to become donors after their death. It can be quickly accessed to see whether an individual has registered a willingness to be an organ donor. It can literally be a life-saver. So that in the event of your death there’s a chance that your organs could help someone else to live.

How do I make an appointment to see my Doctor?

If you want to see a doctor, you’ll usually need to make an appointment. Most GP surgeries operate independently and have their own booking routines. Your surgery should be able to offer you an appointment to see a GP or other healthcare professional quickly if necessary. However, if it is more convenient, you should also be able to book appointments in advance. Familiarise yourself with your GP surgery’s appointment system, and try to plan in advance if you can.
