Set the end of the summer as your deadline and work towards achieving something of your own choosing for yourself, so you don’t feel the time was wasted. Create a project, don’t rely on someone else to!
Your role as a driver is not to teach other drivers a lesson if you don’t like their driving style, it is to keep you, everyone in your car and other road users safe.
When someone is driving too fast behind you, let them past as soon as you can so you are out of the danger zone they are creating.
Everyone evaluates situations using their own personal experience and criteria. Respect their decision and ask what they used to make their conclusion.
If you need to ask for help, instead of deciding if you think they’ll help or not, ask and give them the opportunity to decide for themselves.
Choose a lifeguarded beach and always swim between the red and yellow flags. That way you know you’re swimming in an area which is safe from dangerous currents, and you’re doing so under the watchful eye of the lifeguards.
In the UK in 2011, 28 people died getting into trouble whilst swimming at the coast, 62 in rivers and 20 in lakes and reservoirs.
