Getting revenge means that we’re stooping to the other person’s level where we lose ourselves and our values along the way. Instead, stay true to who you are.
Every time you feel yourself being pulled into someone else’s drama, remember: it’s someone else’s drama. You don’t need to take part.
If you look for the light, you can often find it. But if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see.
When you are contacting someone, be patient for a response. Remember, they are leading their own life and will be thinking about their own things too. Don’t take it to heart if they’re busy!
It IS possible to take care of your own needs while simultaneously caring for those around you. And once your needs are met, you will likely be far more capable of helping those who need you most.
You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
Making changes to your life can seem daunting, especially when trying to do it all at once. Breaking things down, into smaller, more manageable chunks can really help.
Your needs matter. If you don’t value yourself, look out for yourself, and stick up for yourself, you’re sabotaging yourself.
