For a whole day, make note of the way you Self Talk in any given situation; pay attention to both positive and negative. Stand back and listen to the tone of your Self Talk, without making any adjustments just yet.
By listening to your inner dialogue and shifting it to become more in line with what you really want, you can change the way you think and feel about yourself.
Self Talk is the way your mind speaks to you in all situations, from daily routines to difficult life events. It is the inner voice that can either encourage or chastise you.
When you say sorry, you are standing up to yourself with respect. Saying sorry doesn’t mean there isn’t guilt, and forgiving doesn’t mean there isn’t pain.
If someone treats people badly, you don’t need to get revenge on them. You can walk away and let their own consequences happen from the things they say and do.
Going over the same negative feelings again and again can make things worse, because it encourages you to remain in that negative place.
Don’t complain about things you’re not willing to work to change.
