You can face prosecution if you are over 10 years old and caught sexting if the person in the photo is under 18, as it is “distributing an indecent image of a child”.
Anyone under 18 “sexting” (texting sexually explicit pictures) could be committing an offence, despite 16 and 17-year-olds being legally old enough to have sex.
In the UK, if a dog suffers or dies as a result of being left in a hot car, their owner or caregiver can be prosecuted for neglect or cruelty under the Animal Welfare Act 2006. Successful prosecution for neglect or cruelty can lead to jail time, fines and being banned from keeping animals in the future.

The full electoral register is used only for elections, preventing and detecting crime and checking applications for credit. It is available for inspection, under supervision, at your local council’s offices.
