Your needs matter. If you don’t value yourself, look out for yourself, and stick up for yourself, you’re sabotaging yourself.
Be honest about what’s right, as well as what needs to be changed. Be honest about what you want to achieve and who you want to become. Be honest with every aspect of your life, always.
It isn’t your problems that define you, but how you react to them and recover from them. Problems will not disappear unless you take action. Do what you can, when you can, and acknowledge what you’ve done.
Isolation as a form of abuse happens when someone is stopping someone seeing their friends and family, keeping them inside and not letting them go out.

You can see your GP about getting an OCD assessment. Your treatment programme is likely to involve behavioural therapy (to change the way you behave and reduce your anxiety) and
medication (to control your symptoms).
Many people with OCD do not report their symptoms to their GP because they feel ashamed or embarrassed. They may also try to disguise their symptoms from family and friends. However, if you have OCD, you should not feel ashamed or embarrassed. Like diabetes or asthma, OCD is a chronic (long-term) health condition, and it is not your fault you have it.
