You can’t “un-see” something distressing. Just because it’s being shown on the News doesn’t mean it’s responsible for them to show or appropriate for you to watch. You can choose not to watch.
Central heating systems may have a programmer (to set the on/off times), a thermostat (to turn it on if it falls below a specific temperature) or both. Fitting a thermostat could save you energy.
Air-drying your clothes uses less energy, which saves money and makes less of an impact on the environment. It prevents static cling, adds a fresh, clean smell if done outside on a clothesline, and extends the lifetime of clothing by reducing wear and tear in the dryer.
If your clothes smell musty after washing, it may be that they have not been dried properly. Start drying as soon as the wash is finished and only pack away once completely dry.
If you get angry when driving, pull over until you calm down. “I was angry at something” is never a reason for endangering others or causing fatalities.
