World Suicide Prevention Day is an awareness day on 10 September every year, in order to provide worldwide commitment and action to prevent suicides, with various activities around the world.
Treat your mind like a home. Open windows to let change in, clear out the attic and keep everything tidy. The front door only lets in who you want, and don’t be afraid to extend to increase the value.
Other people will think all sorts of things about you, and their thoughts will say more about them than they do about you.
Next time you’re worrying about what someone might think of you, ask yourself “can their thoughts really affect me?” … and then get on with whatever you want to do.
People worry more about their own mistakes than yours. Many people aren’t spending much time thinking about that ‘mistake’ you think you made and have been worrying about.
Ask yourself what matters to you – be clear and honest with yourself. It’s okay to have different values from the people around you.
