Staying up all night before an exam won’t make you perform better; you reach a point where your productivity eventually declines, so sleeping is a must to have a refreshed mind the next morning.
Never be Hungry, Angry, Lonely or Tired: HALT. It’s time to STOP, put things on hold and give yourself a chance to reflect and recover.
Exercise is the best way to boost your energy, and encourages better sleep. Exercise releases happy hormones called endorphins which boost our mood, so it’s a win:win situation.
Lack of sleep leads to low concentration and alertness, resulting in poorer grades. Additionally, it decreases your immune system function leading to more likelihood of illness. Research recommends 8½ to 10 hours of sleep each night.
