In warm, sunny weather cars become ovens and even if it’s cloudy, the temperature inside a car can become dangerously hot for a dog. When it is just 22°C outside, the temperature inside a car can soar to 47°C or even higher. Leaving the car windows open or putting a bowl of water inside does not help.
Each day dogs need fresh water available, food, somewhere cool to lay, exercise, and companionship. If these are not available their temperament may change.
Remember that, one day, you will be a role model for someone else. Your behaviours and influence will be picked up by younger people – good or bad. Think how you would want to positively influence their life, and what parts of you they would admire.
Food Revolution Day is a global day of action for people to make a stand for good food and essential cooking skills. It’s a chance for people to come together within their homes, schools, workplaces and communities to cook and share their kitchen skills, food knowledge and resources. Food Revolution Day aims to raise awareness about the importance of good food and better food education for everyone.
