Sunday’s are stereotypically slower, lazy days where time is often wasted instead of spent. Instead of wasting your time on a Sunday, spend it. If you have the time, do something you enjoy. Do those jobs you never get around to, or spend it with family. Fill the day.

Baby, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother
Instead of comparing yourself to others – especially people you think of as being better/smarter/more beautiful than you in some way – compare yourself to your past self. See how you are a different person, how you have grown and how you do things differently now to how you did 3 or 5 years ago.

If you want to get the best gift for a friend or someone in your family, choose something that is meaningful to them – something based on their interests. Aim to make it memorable and unique; this shows you’ve taken care and spent the extra time and effort thinking of them.

To tidy your house quickly, you need a bin-bag and a basket. Taking one room at a time, put the rubbish in the bag and put whatever doesn’t belong in the room into the basket. Then go to the next room, unload anything from the basket that belongs in this room, and load anything in that doesn’t.

There are lots of different places you can get help. Support lines and groups exist for most type of problem. Search the internet for confidential advice lines, supportive forums and local groups you can visit for people who have been through the same situations and can help you through them.

Willpower comes down to just one choice: do I choose to do it, or choose not to do it? Make it a concious decision. Being truthful to yourself, which will give you the better outcome? Once you start making these decisions and seeing the results, they get easier and you understand better what “willpower” is.

Don’t put off learning a new skill or doing something you always wanted to do just because it will take too long. Allocate 15 minutes a day, every day, to doing it, and you will soon start making progress.
