What are the 4 Ts of Type 1 diabetes?

  • Toilet: Going to the toilet a lot, bed wetting by a previously dry child or heavier nappies in babies.
  • Thirsty: Being really thirsty and not being able to quench the thirst.
  • Tired: Feeling more tired than usual.
  • Thinner: Losing weight or looking thinner than usual.

Growing out of groups is natural

Like we grow out of clothes, sometimes we grow out of people, too. That may sound like a bad thing to say, but it’s true. In middle school you may have grown out of the group of friends you had been with since preschool. After high school, you may have grown out of your friends from home and moved on to friends that you met at college. It’s perfectly natural as we get older to grow out of our previous groups of friends.

What is the penalty for incorrectly displayed number plates?

Car number plates should: be made of a reflective material, display black letters on a white background (front plate) and display black characters on a yellow background (rear plate). Failure to display licence plates correctly can result in up to a £1000 fine, and your vehicle will fail its MOT test.

What is Type 1 diabetes?

Type 1 diabetes develops when the body’s immune system attacks and destroys the cells that produce insulin. As a result the body is unable to produce insulin and this leads to increased blood glucose levels, which in turn can cause serious damage to all organ systems in the body.
