Taking Folic Acid supplements during pregnancy

If you are planning to become pregnant you should take folic acid supplements – even if you are healthy and have a good diet. Once pregnant, continue to take the supplements for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. If you take folic acid supplements it reduces the risk of having a baby born with a defect of their spinal cord, such as spina bifida.

House fires kill 500 people a year

In the UK each year there are around 50,000 (140 a day) house fires, which kill nearly 500 and injure over 11,000 – many which could have been prevented if people had an early warning and were able to get out in time.

Micromanaging people creates time inefficiency

Micromanaging someone is inefficient with time, since there are two people doing the same task: one standing around telling the other exactly what to do, the other blindly following orders and not really learning or understanding , or needing to understand, the complexity of the task and how they should go about it in a way that makes sense to them.
