After you’ve honestly assessed where you currently are in your career, you can plot out a route of where you want to be, including milestones, to reach your ultimate career goal.
When thinking about your career, think about what skills you already have, whether you learned them from work, school or hobbies, and what you’re naturally good at. Think about what your main motivation is – are you driven by passion, the aspiration for success, or something else?
By participating in an ecotherapy project, you could meet new people, lessen any isolation and loneliness, and increase your sense of belonging, build your peer support network, create more of a structure to your week, and make connections with people which may develop into long-term friendships.
Ecotherapy can help build your confidence through providing the satisfaction of completing tasks and contributing to positive change for yourself and the environment, and potentially providing opportunities to gain qualifications.

Mindfulness is about focusing on what is happening right now, rather than replaying things that happened in the past or worrying about what’s going to happen next. It takes a lot of practice to build the mindfulness habit.
Having a sense of purpose and hope for the future such as having personal goals, strong values and connectedness to others will help you manage stress.
Feeling secure about yourself, having a sense of self-worth, and having a clear sense of self-identity so that you step away or create some physical or psychological distance from things that pull you down or give you stress, will help you be more resilient.
Make sure you think of all of your travel companions when booking activities. If you are traveling with children, be sure planned activities are child-friendly. If someone in your group has health/dietary considerations, be respectful of those as you plan the trip.
