Critical thinking is the ability to think clearly and rationally. It includes the ability to engage in reflective and independent thinking.
Inspiration is a much more effective motivator than competition. You’re more likely to experience success if you are inspired by other people’s victories instead of wasting time finding fault with them.
Horace said “Rule your mind, or it will rule you”. You have the ability to train your mind and control your thoughts so your mind obeys you, not the other way around.
What would happen if you surrounded yourself with people who support you and help you grow into becoming a better person? What would happen if you started spending time with the RIGHT crowd?
It isn’t easy to remain positive when negativity surrounds you, but remember that you have full control over your attitude.
The ocean can’t sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship: all the negativity in the world can’t bring you down unless you allow it to get inside your head.
If you get angry when driving, pull over until you calm down. “I was angry at something” is never a reason for endangering others or causing fatalities.
Try awareness and understanding of others without an emotional response – this feels very different from getting your buttons pushed. Judgments that cause emotional reactions are clues to help you find personal insight.
