Find what you are passionate about, then find how to make money from it. You will get great enjoyment from it and that will reflect in the quality of work and your output.
If you put on a big, genuine smile when you are nervous, you seem more approachable and the experience may have a more positive outcome.
If you are unemployed and have too much time on your hands, use it by learning a new, employable skill. Work at it for a few hours each day, and soon you will become proficient.
Willpower comes down to just one choice: do I choose to do it, or choose not to do it? Make it a concious decision. Being truthful to yourself, which will give you the better outcome? Once you start making these decisions and seeing the results, they get easier and you understand better what “willpower” is.
If you find it hard starting a large project, split it down into smaller tasks. This way, you can see progress, have more small successes, and learn to manage your time better.
If you don’t like where your story is headed, you can change it. You can write yourself a new one. One where you do things worth writing about. You don’t have to be stuck.
Working as part of a team helps your project benefit from other people’s skills that you don’t have. Teamworking is a learnable skill in itself.
